LibreOffice Vanilla App Reviews

My MAC is not Liking this

As per the other review on printing-I am having the same challenge. landscape mode is stuck?? On the print preview page I clicked on ‘more’ then ‘brochure’—[I am a messer when computers don’t do what I think they should do] & it flipped the page. I still don’t know why the PDF button is on? I’ll play with it some more and re-review.

Won’t save spreadsheet to PDF nor print properly

I have NOT upgraded to El Capitan. Up to now, I have always had a problem with printing spreadsheets in that they always came out in landscape mode unless I first converted the file to PDF. Now the program will not convert to PDF, nor will it print in ANY mode. First noticed this problem today, 2/3/16.

printing orientation STILL broken

As others have said, printing orientation is broken. The very first document (Word .doc file) I tried using insists on printing in landscape mode, even though it was originally portrait and is set to portrait, the print preview is totally confused and shows both orientations at once. App is worthless to me until they fix this. I’m sure I’ll love it once this is resolved. Another oddity: this is supposedly version 4.4.4.6, but the “About LibreOffice” window lists it as version 4.4.4.4. March 2016: updated to latest (5.1.1.3) and print orientation STILL broken! This has apparently logged as a known bug for some time.

Good, cant print.

The current version appears to have a bug that permanantly puts regular word docs into landscape, even though the UI says portrait. Downloading (manually) the current version (4.1.2) of Apaches OpenOffice dosent have this issue (though libre offices UI is a little smoother to use than OpenOffices).

Open Office DJ RICK

HA HA HA UHHH PEOPLE JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO UPDATE THERE SYSTEM ,,,,WORKS FOR ME HOW ABOUT YOUR’S <> ???

Still can’t print portrait orientation!

April 12 update to 5.1.2.2 still prints word processing documents in landscape when margins are set for portrait. From OSX 10.9.5. Going direct to Libre Office website and installing from there, and it works fine, prints fine. Apple Store version still doesn’t print right — has been an issue for more than a year now.

Junkware - Don’t bother with it

These folks can’t even get rudimentary functions, like printing landscape, right. Not worth the bandwidth it will waste to download.
